how much does a ipr go for. what would make the #5 injector cause to miss??

if number 5 has a miss it could be a bad injector or it's the low oil pressure

he tested all the injectors electrically and they passed but the wave when it was fireing showed #5 missing... now does the HPOP run the injectors cause he told me that that is what probly took out injector number 5??

that is correct however yor problem could be a seal on your injector leaking kepping your oil pressure low,

so would a bad injector cause it to lose that much pressure and cause my truck to run like crap?????? and make it shut down????? i am new to this and i really apreciate your advise!!!!

yes if it has a leak I've seen them with leaks that won't allow the truck to start at all,

just off the top of my head could it be a coolent or glow plug issue also for fordtech 08

or anybody else who knows i am getting ready to buy new injectors and was told there may be 2 lenghts is that true

there are two lengths of glow plugs the injectors are all the same but the hold downs for injectors are different later on
a glow plug issue would be hard to start cold not warm
and unless your head gasket is leaking causing the miss I doubt it also it wouldn't cause your low oil pressure

so i got another question if the battery are not the right battery or they are cheap battery would that cause a problem????

it would cause it to turn over slowly if the cca are not enough however short term they are fine as long as the engine spins fast enough

well its my HPOP and my IPR so the total damage is 1750 not to bad and that included 2 new ford batterys
