heater vent switch?

heater vent switch?
my heater is stuck on vent and i cannot get it to go onto defrost. the switch moves but doesnt change the direction in which warm air is moveing. In saskatchewan this is a big deal haha.... so if anyone has any ideas on whats wrong that would be great. (it still blows warm air)

only one way really is to take it apart and see what is keeping the doors from moving, could be something blocking the door(s), or something wrong with the cable that operates the doors. Only thing you got going for you is the ease with which the dash can be taken apart....

ac is vaccume controled, check your vacume lines at the heater box outside 1st, then at the box inside behind the radio. sometimes the glovebox emptys itself out onto the heater controls. could just be a wayward ink pin keeping everything from moveing
