The fumes are actually going straight into the intake. but I do belive the back cylinders avtually get more than their shair and it raises heat if there is enough blowby. It has been said that is the cause of some headgasket failure, It could be it hurts the gp's too.
IDI turbos have no Y pipe unless it has duals after the downpipe. Do the turbo up grade. Get a pyro and boost gauge. Keep it under 1200 degrees. and 12 psi of boost and roll on. Plenty of power. It may not run with a built cummins or dmax but it will run longer and more reliably then both.
Nope, No one makes them. I'm considering going true duals, but I've heard it's real loud.
If You aren't going with a turbo true duels are the only way to go and don't skimp on the pipe diameter either, good mufflers keep the noise level good.
