Pulling enclosed trailer

I want to hear your experiences pulling an enclosed trailer with your IDI.

Im looking at getting a 24-28ft enclosed trailer to pull my 4wheelers in and I am gonna go in and put some bunks and cabinets in so we can sleep in it. I would have four 4wheelers (about 2000lb) tools and gear for 4 people. I dony know how much these trailers weigh and Ive never pulled one.

im looking at getting a turbo but I haven't decided yet. Will i be ok without one?

Also do the v nose pull any better than the flat face?

I have a 93 350 dually 7.3 na 5 speed 4.10 gears. Im not worried about running 80 everywhere,I rarely go over 65 anyway because she sucks the fuel if I try to run faster. I live in pretty flat country (just NE of Atlanta and most of my driving is going south)

Thanks everybody.

I pulled an extra tall one heavily loaded from N.M. to anchorage but it was only a 16 footer with no trouble I do have a turbo though. It seems to me that the wind load hurts more than the weight so I think you would be money ahead with the vnose.

wind drag will deffinatly kill you before weight....weight is a constant load that can at least utilize momentum, wind load grows exponentially with momentium

I have an older 26' travel trailer, usually the v10 gets the job of tugging it, but occasionally the 7.3 does it's job. As the guys have said, wind plays a huge factor, even with the V10 I can see a huge difference in handling and fuel consumption. The 7.3 pulls it, but weight wise it isn't a whole lot heavier than a mini ex and trailer it also pulls. The wind/flat face makes a big difference. I would definitely go for the v-nose if I were getting an enclosed trailer these days, the extra room inside is also useful.
