OK guys, Cheeto is not to be harassed for the rest of the week. that means no mention of his changing his mind on what goes into his truck more than he changes his underwear, no mentioning his preference of female sheep over female humans, no mentioning his aversion to spending money for parts, and no mentioning his lack of parts shipping skills.

thanks for the brackets and bushings ya sheep ******** cheap bartstard!!!
they UPS man just delivered them.

larry, i totally forgot about that option. (goes to price them on interweb......)

EDIT:not looking too promising. looks like $80 for 12 gal, and then for some reason a jump to $160-190 for 15 gal or bigger.

Dan how big of a fuel tank did you want?

You could just pull a tank from another vehicle, so long as you can find one that's not as bad as yours.

Around here (and probably around Dan too since he is also in the midwest) junk yards won't even sell used tanks, just to much rust.

they will sell on the off chance that it came into the yard with a newer tank, but thats rare. rob's right. tanks are all shot here.

after looking all day it seems that the pickup 19 gal. tank and sending unit for 120 is the best all around deal. just gonna mount it in the tub and be done with it i think, unless it tucks up high enough for my liking in the normal spot. tom said the truck tank fits in the bronco rear, guess i'll just have to see after i get it. don't wanna be dropping it on crap and knocking holes in it every time i play.

Check this out from Jegs
RCI 6116A

Youll also need the straps and a sending unit but this seems like the cheapest 15ish gallon option available.

Foam is used to prevent fuel sloshing in race applications. Stops it from getting air in the fuel to.

It's basiclly just a baffle.

the only thing i forgot to tell ya Dan, is you will need matching tank straps for the 19 gallon tank.
the reason i know it will fit is that guys like to put the bronco 33 gallon tank in the back of pickups for extra fuel capacity
i don't like the idea of the 33 in a pickup because it sticks down so far.

why don't ya get an in bed transfer tank?
this way you will be able to fill up with 110 gallons.
then you will not have to worry about filling it up every day.

my tank was fubared because the p/o removed it at one time and re-installed it w/o any straps. smooth move, right? so if i put either tank in the stock location i need a set.

EDIT: i could probably find one cheap enough out here in corn country, but i think 110 gal. is a bit overkill chief

How was it installed Dan?
What held it in without straps lol.

Although.. when I pulled my Blazer's tank to put a new fuel pump in it, it comes with retarded glue on it holding it up. I had two tire bars on it trying to pry it down. About an hour of kicking and prying and it finally came loose lol.
