Update

Got off work early today, so I pulled the 390 and 4 spd out of the frame:

While I was doing this the neighbor came by with his spray plane and sprayed the wheat next to me:

Looks great Don!

Should be awesome when it's done. Wish I had a 428 or 2 laying around...

Well....First my work load for this spring and summer was way to much. Then the 96 4X4 project got in the way, then the 67 shortbed project ( hope to finish it this week) Now I finally have time to work on this project and deer season opens today.....

The plan is to shorten up the frame next week so I can get the damn thing in the shop and get it running this winter. Still haven't found a set of darn doors for it yet........

Now that I'm retiring I may find time to work on all my projects!

I have this funny feeling that after Don retires he will need a full time camera man to go around taking pics of all the projects he is working on.

1967 shortbed
1997 4X4
1953 panel
1967 F250
1956 F600
1967 COOT (unless I sell it first...)
1967 Sidewinder ski-boat
1960 Sanger drag-boat (428 powered, of course!)
1948 Indian Chief/ sidecar
1948 Indian Four

This is why I decided to retire early. Hopefully I can get some of them done before I croak.....

That's a good way to look at it! I was hoping to pick up my newest project today but the guy hasn't called me back yet to set up a time. It's a fixer upper fifth wheel RV at a really killer price!
