High of 48 today. Not to bad really! It's not fog.............500 feet higher and they had sunshine all day. We are at 2,200 ft and right at the top of a cloud layer.

How goes the project? You might try to do some body work with it off the frame. Sometimes it can be easier to be able to get in all the little cracks without having a frame in the way.

Update!

Well............Since Jeff ( oldbrokecowboy) found me a 300-6 for the wifes 67 shortbed, I now have the 460-C6 out of it, hummmmmmmm......

I was thinking I'll take the FE out of the HiBoy and put in the 460! Now I don't have to make up clutch linkage for the panel and it frees up the 427 for a Fairlane. Since the weather is much better now I'm hoping to get the frame in the shop this weekend to start the frame mods and I already have the 460 out, so I should be able to install it in the frame. I've got a Warn overdrive that fits on the back of the c-6, I'm going to see if there's enough room to mount it in front of the T-case. If all goes well I'll post pics next week!

Must be nice to have a extra 460 laying around!..........Hmmm, I wonder how much modification would be required to drop one in a Ranger! (302/351w are easy)
