Installing just the factory brake controller?

I've used just about every make of controller and pulled just about every weight combo out there. I know how these things should work and until I like the way mine is I will keep saying it is junk. I have spoken with trailer dealers and they are even removing the factory ones stating they are junk.
You should feel the trailer grabbing at any speed which I don't unless I slide the bar manually
