Tires???

I have a 1993 f150 xlt 4x4 302 5.0 v8... it has stock rims and i was wanting to know what the biggest tire i can put on it before i need a bigger rim?

I think 11.50's are as wide as you can go if you have the 7.5''-width rim.

You should be able to run a 32 or 33x11.5 tire on a stock 4x4 with factory rims.

Somebody please correct me!

7.5? mine are 15x8's and u can put 12.5s on them but no wider when u buy tires out of most catalogs/online it will tell u the recomended rim width

hmm learn sumthin new everyday lol im putting my 15x10 eagle alloys hopefully in a week when i get some moolah to buy the tires. lol so since this is a thread for tires what are ur alls opinions on the firestone firehawk indy 500's 295/50r15

I have had 17 in wide ground hawgs on 15x8 inch wheels before.Kind of cups the tires but it can be done.You can pretty much put as wide a tire on a wheel that you want.It's just hard to put that wide a tire on that narrow of a wheel without a lot of ether.Also not recommended so I would say put no wider than a 12.50 on a 7.5 in wide wheel.

are you talking about the biggest (wide) or biggest (tall). on the rims i know people that have 38x10.5r15 on their factory rims since the width still permits it.
