Rim size
New guy here. I searched but did not find my answer. I have a 2006 F350 4x4 6l. it has 20' rims with Michelin tires. I like to have the smallest dia. rim with a taller tire. Can I put a 16" rim on this truck? I don't mind the 17" but the 20" is just too much rim for me.

17" is as small a wheel as will fit on 05 and up.

Thanks I guess that is why I couldn't find a 16" wheel listed.

16" rim was on the '03 & '04 trucks. Not sure if the 7.3L powered SD had 16" or something else.

I've seen an 06 with 16.5 rims. It had 2" spacers so that might be why it worked

if backspace is an issue with the 16.5 rims. I know you can get them re-centered. I am going to buy a set for my 1988 Samurai crawler because I can run the military tires which=cheaper than well known brands.
you might want to look into that.
