replacing engine block heater

how do you replace the engine block heater cord on a 2004 f350 6.0?
mine started on fire at the plug in and caught the plug in and bumper on fire, I puchased the new complete cord but I need to know where the plug on the engine block is to install it. thanks

The heater enters the block on the rear passenger side, above the starter. Just follow the charred remains of the cord.
