06 Silvercrew. What I meant was that exhaust emmisions might be going away...but leave it up to this administration and it's move towards GREEN and we still might see an upsurge due to agreements with the world community. We still are the worlds greatest producer or emmisions with china not too far behind. We're gonna lose the argument someday about no Exhaust sniffing...regardless of testing from the port or not. It's not a point worth arguing. Just saying.

moyockpowerstroke,
Nice lookiing kit. Question, do you have to remove the intake manifold? Or loosen it, or anything like that with this kit?

One thing to remember on emission checks, They can go back and forth at a moments notice. Late 70's my 69 mustang was exempt and then in the 80's they decided to check them again and then in the late 90's exempt again. all depends on which tree hugger is in charge and how bad they want more money. The only difference between a politician and an armed robber is the gun.

Haven't done the delete yet...the instructions are pretty explicit that the intake is only loosened...passenger bolt removed and drivers side lossened. I plan to completely remove it however, IOT hot-soak the intake completely clean the CAC tubes and overhaul the oil cooler. I have already put the CCV filter and Coolant bypass filter in...with these other items sorted...she should be pretty clean.
