Fan cut its hub wire... Hard to remove shroud?
Noticed a cut wire hanging in the engine bay today, and it's the wires that go to the fan hub. They were cut right in half. It's been cool for a last few months so no real reason for the fan to kick in.
1.) Anyone else had this happen?
2.) How difficult is it to remove the fan shroud so I can patch these wires back up?
3.) Is there a way I can force the fan hub to engage once I get the wires back on, to make sure everything is good to go?
Thanks

You can pull the shrout up and out with the rad attached. The wire you cut unlocks from the shroud, there are the two supports on the top of the rad and the hoses on the bottom.Have a helper around as it is a long pull up for one person. The wires on the fan will clutch will then be easy access.
