Tried that too and it didn't work so well. Could just be what my vise is mounted to and how my workbench is setup though.
The worst thing about using the impact wrench was the noise it made
It drew them out with ease and no wrestling was required. Pretty much a no brainer.

My AutoZone also had the older kit ... without the proper tools for the SD .... had to improvise. The next time I borrowed Advance's kit, and it had everything I needed.
One time my son was stuck without a kit .... he brought the knuckle to a local garage and they did it in minutes for a few dollars.
