Help with Keyless remote and lights
Just bought my first Ford ever!!! Been a GM man my whole life and finally crossed over. It is an '06 F-250 with the 6.0 powerstroke. I was wondering if y'all had some good tips and tweaks that I could use. What I am looking for right now is a way to have the lights come on when I press the unlock button on my remote. The interior lights come on , but that is it. I looked for a way to program this, but have found nothing to help so far.

I don't know of an easy way to do this. You could use a relay and supply domelight power to activate the relay, and let the relay contacts supply power to the headlights, but I don't know how you would keep the headlights from coming on each time one of the doors was opened.

You may also have to cover the sensor so the system thinks it is dark out. (I keep my sensor covered all the time, so I'm not 100% sure if the trick works in the daytime with the sensor uncovered).
