I lost my keyless entry remote and I now have to use my ignition key to enter the truck. My question is can I get a new remote?

Secondly, the red light on my dash is blinking wanting a signal from the remote to turn it off. How can I get this light from flashing on and off till I get a new remote?

i have bought them on e-bay. just make sure it looks like yours, every few years they change design adn a newer or older type may not work. then you need to program to the truck- see the manual.

 

Here's the list of what should work. The 4 button remote from my 99 Mustang even programs to my 98 F150. EBay is the place to get one.
