Just in time for winter
rear brakes were locking up on me. i pulled the drums off and dialed back the adjusters in order to drive.
often when i stop, the red brake light on the dash will flash on, then the rear abs light will come on - and stay on until the the engine is turned off/on.
i know its not handbrake related, as i have no handbrake and no cables for it. the handbrake switch has been disconnected and the wires taped off (the do not make contact).
i've done some searching and apparently this could be caused by air in the brake lines? i checked the fluid level and it seems fine.
