haha.

NAPA will take your old batteries back for core, and give you like 10 off each battery or something, then pick up some nice napa golds.

That is, if your connections are all good and clean.

but you should be able to jump with bad batteries.
Get where i'm going?
My connections were good, I did check those. I just dont' think my wife's little chevy had enough juice to jump it. And sometimes a bad battery won't hold enough charge to even work.

NAPA wanted $110 each for batteries, autozone and advance wanted $100 but would give me a 10% military discount, and WalMart was only $75 each.

Walmart had the same battery for cheaper basically... same manufacturer as some of the others, and a good warranty.

And any place you go charges you a core charge ON TOP OF the cost of the battery, but you get it back when you turn in the old ones.

Another good option is Costco if you have one in the area. I got a pair from them two years ago and have had zero problems, plus they were even cheaper than Walmart and the highest CA/CCA rating of any batteries I found.

No Costco nearby... Sam's Club but it's about an hour drive.

The nice part about walmart is there warranty and lack of skills. In the past Ive had a battery was about 2yrs 10 months and change and then arced a terminal of it, started to melt part of it. Figured out who carried it -walmart. Took it back and said it was bad they just looked at it checked the sticker of dates on the battery not the receipt. Great especially since I didnt buy the battery or have the recipt since it came with the truck, the girl at the service counter just told me to put it on the pallet over there and said it happens alot that they die before the 3 yrs, that and didnt want to touch it especially with the melted portion venting acid. Just get another one and then did her thing with the computer/ register and gave me the new battery and receipt, and the warranty started all over again

I am not a big fan of Walmart, but sometimes I hear of good deals.
I actually got two back tires from them for my Porsche. Goodyear Eagles. They were 1/2 the price of the P ZERO's that i normally buy.

Yea, it is a Boxster. Big mistake though. I spend more money keeping it on the road than I do modding my dually.

Here is a picture of it.

My brother in law works there. That is the main reason I got them there. I got the EMPLOYEE discount too.LOL
PS. he hates working there. He is a great mechanic surrounded by IDIOTS.

It is a '98. They are really expensive to maintain. And you cannot get to the engine without a lift or a pit. Not exactly the most dependable car either. But man is it fun to drive.
