Pull the whole hub. All the 67-72 F250s I have dealt with had the drums mount to the back of the hub, clamped on with the studs.
Same with the rear, but you have to pull the whole axle shaft out.
my 67' f250 has alot of sheared off studs and i have no idea how to get to them or how to get them off. its stock so its got drums on it
Once you remove the studs from the hub, they should not be used over again.
The studs have raised serrations on the hub end. The serrations retain the hub to the brake drum. Once studs are removed, the serrations flatten out.
If reused, the drum will not fit tight to the hub, which means the drum will eventually walk away from the hub.
The correct way to remove wheel studs is with a press. You may be able to remove them with a hammer, but when installing new studs, they should be pressed in.
This is how all Ford Dealers, and brake shops do it.
