C8AE-H HEAD SPECS.

I checked the FAQ first!

I picked up a set on Craigslist that have been rebuilt with hardened seats.

Looking for "as cast" combustion chamber and head height specs (gasket surface to top of head bolt hole)
I'm trying to determine if the heads have been milled

The valves are 2.2 intake and 1.65 Exhaust.

Opps... had those valve sizes all wrong!
Intakes 2.02
Exhaust 1.55

2.2 woud be a neat trick involving rewriting the basic laws of physics!

Combustion chamber volume is 68 to 71 cc

Exhaust valve 1.56".

Intake valve 2.04"

Intake ports 1.34" X 1.93"

Exhaust Ports 1.28" X 1.94"

The tell tale of milling is seen in the thumbprint area. Lower right hand corner of this pict. IIRC unshaved this is about a .040 offset. And usually the milling leaves an obvious diagonal swirl across the face that can been seen at the right angle.
