I Recently removed the head off of my inline 6 flat head (g series) I have looked around and can not seem to find torque specs for this engine. Does anyone know where i can find them?
According to the G Series Engine Repair Manual I have the cylinder head torque is 50-60 lbs. Not sure why the 10 lb range. Instructions include starting at the most centrally located nut and tighten alternately from side to side.

Thank you maybe tighten them as patterned to 50 then take them all to 55 and see if it holds. They a 7/16 studs i would like to replace them as well but can not seem to find the right ones for my engine
I would suggest cleaning the studs good with a thread chaser.
If I can not find replacements I will run a die over each stud and a tap through each nut but sound advice with stuff this old. I think i have had to chase 90 percent of the treads on this truck so far
