Does anyone have the torque specs on the heads for a 1964 292V8 out of my F-100? I need to take it apart (and hopefully put it back together) this weekend.
The Heavy Duty(HD) motor was used in the heavier trucks, so I would err to the Medium Duty specs. Hopefully someone else will pop in with the correct numbers for your year.
Crazy B is correct. But irregardless of the manual go with 70 to 75 lbs. I always use 73 lbs. Also make sure the two slightly longer head bolts on the upper row, go into the end holes.
