Ignition switch replacement

I'm trying to replace the ignition lock in my daughter's 1991 Explorer. I read a post on how a guy did it, but his was a '94 (I think). Will it be the same for a '91?
P.S. It has tilt steering.

91 and 94 should be the same. You need the ignition key to get the old lock out.
