I just called a local Tire/Wheel/Alignment shop I have worked with before. They want $250 for labor replace all four ball joints, and $60 to align the steering afterward. That seems like a great deal to me, so I'm sure I'll do that.
New Moog ball joints from Amazon are $170 shipped. So in the end (barring any hidden damage - finger crossed), I'll be in it for $480.

If you have 'the time and tools' (a friend or two and beer), if 'pays' to do these yourself.... But, 480.00 I think would be a good way to go. Make sure that the Ball Joints that are put in have grease zerts. (and 'lifetime' warrenty)
