Injector Saga (The sequel)?!?!?!
So a very long story short. I had a new motor put in my truck in July of 08 due to a #8 cylinder issue. The code i was getting was a P0308 ( Fault Cylinder H-Misfire Detected (CYLINDER 8)). Went threw alot of headache and threads figuring it out.
Now i have a new motor (with warranty) and have been getting a random 308 code for a few months tripping the SES light. So yesterday i took my truck to the dealership to have it looked at. My friend/head mechanic called me this morning and told me that the #8 injector is failing! SO they are putting a new injector in it and then throw some more test at it. We decided to throw a non LL injector in there for S&G's.

Good luck with that new injector Nolan.
If you still have stock fueling, no RR, you are going to get some cackle, so be ready for it.

Might be a good idea to check, and if it's grey, swap it out with a black one. At least that will tell you if it's a phantom code or not.
