So as I have been fighting with my truck about this #8 injector code issue I finally came to buying a new injector. Last week I swapped out the UCVH on the drivers side in hopes that this would fix the issues I've been having. Turned out to be a whole lotta work for nothing.
Oh well... So friday I ended up ordering a new injector since my "friend" flaked on me with the one he said he had. It was suppose to come into the auto parts store around noon on Saturday so i tore down my truck with great antisapation that morning.
One o'clock hits and no call from the store. So i called them only to find out that the new injector didnt make it onto the truck and since they dont do runs on sundays i am stuck till Monday...
So here I am on my only day off driving my boss's mini-van with no fun stuff to do on my truck since i'm mad at it.
I did however pull the old injector out only to find that it is no surprise it dosnt work!!! It was gummed up with oil/sludge and had some discolorization to it. I hate to think what my other 7 look like... Well hopfully the new one will come tomarrow and al will be ok. Wish me luck. If this dosnt fix my problem then I will be selling myself on the corner so that I can afford to have it delt with at a shop!!! hahaha

Brandon: that may be the going rate for me... but unfortunately enough the injector was $315. plus the $180 core.
