My old 1991 f250 out on deactivated logging roads, didnt realize the road was washed out barely made truck needed some extra help up the hill after the wash out. Cost of bumpers, 20 bucks and some wire and time.
1986 f250 4x4 auto 6.9l 161,000 miles, bought it last week, still have a lot to learn about diesel engines. I have owned a ford of some type all my life.
Thank you for the compliment. It is a Branson 3520, 4cyl Diesel, non turbo. I thought about getting the turbo, but at the time the turbo was in its first year production and only added 5 hp.
I thought that was a Branson. I worked for my uncle for around four years and he was a Branson dealer. Closed up shop though. Branson has an impressive tractor.
Yeah, I hear a lot of dealers stopped carrying them. I have not had many problems with mine; more than I expected, but less than the other brands my friends have. My buddy has a green one and I think his tractor is having an affair with the service technician. It is really powerful and a decent weight. I can take the loader and push over a decent sized tree. I wish they had the larger hoe when I purchased mine. My hoe was the upsized 2ng generation but it still looks dwarfed against the tractor.
They only had the 10,20 and 30 series when he was in business. They had just come out with the 00 series and was fixing to introduce a hydrostatic trans. Kukje corp makes all the small Cummins engines.
My 1993 factory turbo. I painted it rustoleum hammered black which is like a gunmetal gray powder coat finish. I got a nice dent in the door from where the wind caught the utility door too haha. I replaced the bottom 5 inches of the utility body bins with 1/4" aluminum plate and 3x5x1/4 aluminum angle since they had some rust, as well as the bottoms of all the doors with diamond plating after reparing the rust to them. My favorite part is the 24x18 x 30 inch stainless toolbox I installed when I had the bed cut apart. I drive it daily 100-250 miles per day. I also put a tommy gate on it and e track in the back. I removed the rear seat and put another 24inch tool box on the driver side inside.
Haha thanks. Here's some close ups of the paint finish. I used something like 25 spray cans, only because the sprays cans dried faster and i was concerned there would be a more noticable variance in the pattern if i mixed it myself. I started at 11am, pressure washed, degreased, wiped down with denatured alcohol, then DA'd the whole truck, wire wheeled the latches, then pressure washed, degreased, and wiped down with alcohol, then taped off truck and wipe again, then painted with 5-7 coats. and finished at 9:30pm. The truck is always dirty from jobsites, always getting dings and scratches so i wanted a finish that wouldnt show minor scratches or dings as easy but could still be washed. I was going to linex the entire truck but the bed picks up some dirt/fat from some places that the pressure washer even has trouble getting off.
