nice one boots.considering she didn't come from ford in that combo, there's no wonder it took so long to find it.now don't ever sell her! lol.
I know that's right! I can tell by door sticker she came through with 235/85/16 tires so I was assuming it was a single rear wheel drive from factory.
In 2007 I bought a 93 f-350 crew 4x4 7.3 5spd dually didn't have turbo and she had 320k miles on it. I was stupid enough to sell it.... I vowed if I ever found another I was going to have it. when I went to Philly to look at it I damn near tore the pocket off my jeans trying to get my wallet out.
icing on the cake is the rear suspension is full air ride. no leaf springs at all.
the only issue I had since purchase was belt tensioner bolt was stripped out and kept throwing belt off. I heli-coiled the aluminum case with M10 and installed new tensioner. I wont sell this old girl will fall apart in my driveway first.
I'm new here but I thought I'd add to this thread. I'll be trading my 1993 F350 (351 Windsor) on this truck. It's a 1993 with a 7.3 IDI. I'm looking forward to getting it. The truck is in good condition, but I intend on taking it from 'good' to 'great' condition over time. The current owner is keeping the big box in the back, but I'd love to find a decent 100-gallon-or-so transfer tank to have on the back. Over time I'll see what I can find. Anyways, it'll be my first Ford diesel and I'm looking forward to it.
