Let's get some more name brands out there. Anyone try a license mounted Boyo brand camera? If so, how do you like it? I'm going do this install so I can hitch up my boat easier. I'll be connecting it to my stereo monitor.

Picture quality is not like watching a movie but is still pretty good and has a wide field of view. I would recommend this unit.
I too am using a "thin" mount Boyo.... Allowing the state to be seen, and it's a full plate frame with the heads of the nuts being countersunk (making theft of the frame a lot tougher).
I'll snap some pictures of the unit mounted on my EX... as well as the screen shot from the Kenwood DNX 9140 it's connected to. Pretty Nice Head Unit as I can see the camera when in motion (full screen), or as a Picture in picture during my Navigation screen.
And yes... makes it SO NICE for backing up to that hitch when your only one set of eyes.

This isn't the exact same one, but you get the idea; http://www.amazon.com/VTL351-Ultrasl.../ref=pd_cp_e_3

I just bought and had the same system installed on my Ex with a new dvd player cause the factory stopped working, and the backup camera. Boy what a difference between it and the temp walmart camera I had on the rear. My camera is mounted dead center of the lic plate, then we tilted the plate for the right angle. I can see the hitch just fine for hooking up and then about 30 feet behind me as well, the camera I installed has a set of night vision lights to make it easier for night time and dark areas hook up.
My wish is an aftermarket GPS head unit that would incorporate the propiety DVD signal to my rear passenger screen, (have spent coutnless hours looking without luck) then id belive to have the perfect set-up
Watch out for some of those cameras your posting up... some won't do any justice in dark (even with backup lights assisting) and have horrible resolution or angle ability.
BOYO is a name I'd personally stick with for aftermarket cameras. Some manufacturers (like Kenwood, Alpine...etc) make a great camera but the cost goes up a bit.

The cheap ones that VA sheriff got for us from Sam's are actually VERY good at night. I can see the trailer while backing up with no lights on at night. I was quite supprised.

Very good to know... and can't beat that price he was able to snag'em for. Amazingly low.
Nice pics, and your head unit has awesome video functions. I've been very happy with my camera as well. Makes hitching up to my trailer a snap. I'll post pics in the future.
Guys-
Just saw that the concept ram long hauler has a backup camera in the third brake light to help out when hooking up a gooseneck trailer. I'd like to have this on my 09 F350 SRW. Has anyone does this? I'd want to integrate into my factory NAV, too. I think there's an aux input available, IIRC.
Although I'd like to have a wireless camera on the back of my trailer, too. Decisions, decisions...
Can I have three backup cameras? What would the wife say?
