I just checked and according to the Sams Club in my area it is $79.81. If you can get it for $35 you better get it. I still have not put the one on that I bought from Geeks.com.
I just went to my Sam's Club. They had plenty in stock and the price was indeed $35.
The only problem with picking up some and mailing to you guys, they are heavy. Shipping would probably be $10.00 minimum, maybe $15.00 maximum.
I would suggest you guys punch in zip code 22901, print out the $35.00 price and try to make your local Sam's Clubs honor that price. It's just plain wrong they have them priced so differently everywhere! I bet most Sam's Club managers would honor the $35 price.
On hold right now, your local store doesn't ship and Sam's Club does NOT price match in their chain.
My plan is to at least yank their chain over this.
Sheesh, more drama than I needed but they are going to do it.
I talked to the manager of my local store after the national customer service people said no. My guy explained that this is something they don't ordinarily do but blah blah blah. He decided to go with good customer service and bring this item in for me.
Oh, and Sheriff, I was only kidding about you picking it up for me...unless I couldn't have gotten it here for the same price!!!
Thanks for the head's up Sheriff.
I can't imagine any competent Sam's manager refusing to honor the lowest price.
Sometimes you just have to jack them up against the wall and tell them a thing or two.
hmmm....that may work, lemme check with wifelike one real quick and see , I will be in town tomorrow morning pretty close to your house anyway to pick up some railroad ties...
Wife bought one for me for Christmas. I can say that it works excellent. The only problem is the monitor is so big. Right now I use the straps that came with it and attach to sun visor. I remove it when not towing the TT. Only use it for hitching up. Might buy another at this price.
