I still fail to see the point. Agree, disagree, or indifferent. Jason said that his intentions are positive. That's good enough for me. Lets all enjoy a big virtual group hug and continue on. No harm, no foul.
I guess my point has been made. In my mind at least. Just a little negative for the hope of a positive gain resulted in this....
Now if I may be excused, I need to prepare another package containing another free part to another FTE member...(search my posts, FTE'ers first, I think I said)
My truck is going to be the fastest, Its salty here, and try as you all might, I'll eventually have so many speed holes-nobody will stand a chance in a race.
Also, my truck is better than yours because I have a loose offroad light wire, so it turns on and off randomly, can YOUR truck do that? Hah, I guess not.
Another reason my truck is way better than anyone elses, is actually pretty crazy, but I just realized it can drive itself! Thats right! Last night I was in the bar, and I drank way too much, and I don't remember much but next thing you know I was at home! Amazing! Ford better work on the software bugs though, theres some haybail chunks stuck in my grill, but amazing still!
He stated his point. He believes there are cliques here. And I agree with him. Especially in other parts of this site. Not so much here, other than what I said about EVERYONE here in our sub-forum. I just don't see it here much this sub-forum, honestly.
Yeah but Nolan, sometimes arguments make for really good discussion and information. Look at the turbo thread that Fordzilla started a while back. Gene and Curtis when at it for several pages of that thread and there was some GREAT info that came from it.
I personally think this thread could cause discussion more than argument.
FWIW- I was a recipient of one Jason's free parts here on FTE not too long ago. It was awesome that he offered it up here first!
Why is there such a heartache with this? We as 7.3L diesel owners are definitely cliquish, in terms of other types of Ford truck owners. Is there some of it going on in here? Maybe so, but I don't see it. Maybe posting the definition will help?? Not trying to be a smartazz, but is there a misunderstanding of what the actual word means?

3. of, pertaining to, or characteristic of a clique: narrow, cliquish notions about art.
Yes we're a clique. Why is it bad to hang out with people that have trucks like mine? I can't exactly go into the f150 forums and get an answer as to why my PSD is running funny and I don't know why their F150s are doing whatever they're doing so I don't really have a need to go there and clutter their tech forum.
Go down to the OT. It was started as a 7.3 thing. Yes it is still dominated by people who have 7.3s but there's a good number of non-7.3ers there.
To rattle off a few:
John
Mark
Jake
Speedy (dont know his real name)
farmforward (dont know his real name)
Steve
Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. We also had some non-7.3ers at the past NE Tech day. Brian, Andy, Aaron, and Steve. Well Aaron had an OBS 7.3 but he's not a member of our 99-03 sub-forum here so I don't know if you'd consider him part of our "clique" or not.
