Tailgate cables
I finished painting my tailgate cable supports, 15" cables and hardware from '99 Silverado. I rough measured when I laid out the brackets so I hope they fit without too much sag in the tailgate.

The smaller posts thread into riv-nuts dead center where the rear stake pockets are; the larger posts thread into the angle brackets, which will bolt to the inner face of the tailgate. I hope the cable will coil and not rub on the box sides. I won't know until I get the truck back from paint in two weeks. I'll post pics as soon as that happens !
