1 piece left for this morning otherwise pretty much polished it off yesterday,,,mmm. Pretty simple to make, my son did the weave because I never majored in basket weaving, apparently. Grab a cold one and watch it cook and roll it around. I did put toothpicks on the end of bacon pcs (weave) to hold together better

I dunno where this salad recipe comes from - but it used to be a favorite of my folks, who were from Pennsylvania originally

Shred some bacon into small pieces (about a pound. Easiest is to slice across the strips in a package about 1/4 inch wide) and fry it up, then drain off extra grease.

Chop up some lettuce - preferably the kind called "ESCAROLE"

Toss the still warm bacon and lettuce together, and sprinkle the whole works with vinegar and garlic salt *to taste)

I don't even know what that salad is called, but it sure is tastey...
