Just wondering if anyone uses or has a replacment from Oreilly's. 200.00 for a new one. Mine is going south, cranks slow, even when warmed up. Put new batteries in last week, checked all the cables and cleaned and re-attached the grounds to the block. It also is drawing down the voltage to 9-10 when it cranks.
Thanks, Bill
Mine wore out too. It was cranking slower and slower each time. Some how it managed to snap one of the bolts holding the motor housing together and seize up. Luckly I originally replaced it with a duralast starter from Autozone so it has a lifetime warranty. They go for 189.99 right now and I think the core charge is $40...not sure though. They swapped it out no questions asked.

I may check one out, I think there's an Autozone nearby.
O'rielly's runs good products. you get what you pay for... sounds as though anything will be better than what you have so I don't think you can go wrong.
