engine dies no restart

Use the Edge to check for codes. If the truck shuts off like you turned the key off, it sounds like an electrical issue. While the engine is running, try and wiggle the wires going to the IPR, the main engine wiring harness (below and behind the 42 pin connector ((square box with bolt in the middle on the drivers side valve cover)), check the wiring harness that goes over the top of the drivers side front shock, the wires going to the back of the fuel bowl, the wires inside the steering column, and if it's been raining out wiggle the fuses and relays under the dash to see if any of them cause a problem.

If you can get the truck to stall while you wiggle something, you've found your problem. Also check the tin nut on the back of the IPR to make sure it's not loose.

Replaced ICP and IPR and she seems to be running like new. Will find out tomorrow going hunting in GA and pulling my 30' camper about 350 miles. Wish me luck!!!

Well she made it, I guess the IPR was the problem but my fuel mileage is way down compared to usual. But ran without a hitch
