gpr or glow plug controller?
ive been reading about all these problems with the glow plugs comin up in cold weather and i have a strong feeling that i could have a bad gpr.i went to oreilly to see how much it was and they said the glow plug controller is usually the culprit here and the relay is 192. is there a way to test both i cant go blowing 200 dollars for fun id like to narrow the problem down.

Gpr **or** gpcm
If your truck is a California truck, it should be a GPCM, otherwise all other states are a GPR from my limited understanding of all things glow plug.
Once you determine which you have, folks here have lots of good leads on where to buy them for the best price.
