i have read through a few posts about the glow plug relay and everyone seems to recommend the gpr-109 from napa for $30. i checked with napa, both online and in the store, and the only two they carry are gpr-110 and gpr-111. and they are $65 and $95. should it be the 109, 110, or 111? anyone have any luck with bwd, neihoff or duralast?
i held a screwdriver between the big posts on the gpr for about 30 seconds and then tried to start it and it still wouldnt crank. one of the big posts on the gpr has melted through the rubber boot and is a little black. even if the gpr is bad, it should have started after manually activating it with the screwdriver. but the melting of the boot isnt good, and im going to replace the gpr anyways.

Have you ever done business with : onlinecomponants.com ? I get a little goosey when they won't tell you the shipping charges in advance, just that they will be added to the invoice and you agree to pay them.

No I haven't ever done business with them. They were just the first ones up on Google.

Rog,
That is where I got my GPR (and had my neighbor get his as well), the way their order form is filled out made you feel like you had to be a "business" to purchase from them, but I filled it out using all my personal information and had no issues (ditto on the neighbor).
On the shipping, they first sent me an initial email invoice for the order, then followed later by a second email with shipping cost added and it was very reasonable
Thanks for the info. The business part didn't bother me as I just use my old business, it was giving them an open ticket for the shipping that got me goosey.
