Thanks......how did you find those? I'm looking for the wiring diagram of the switching relay for the ESOF on my 08. I'm trying to find the wire that operates the 4x4 low to the front wheels so i can splice into it and have 2 wd low.....and maybe use the uplifter switch.
The Upfitter retrofit is a fairly common upgrade and kits with instructions/wiring diagrams are readily available. I have not run across anyone who has completed the mod you are attempting to do. Sorry...
I have done this, but the problem is when you open the circuit to the vacuum switch, it will cause a trouble code to be stored in the PCM. The check engine light will not turn on but there will be a trouble code listed. If I knew which wire fed the information back to the pcm then I could wire it up on the normally open side of the relay. I have checked for voltage on the 3 wires and when the ESOF switch is activated, power feeds in on the yellow wire but and back out on the other two wires, so I don't know which on feeds the voltage to the PCM.

Hummmm...i know of one other way to accomplish this. I saw an ad in 'Trailer Life' saleing a 2wd low switch at a cost of $150. Maybe thats the way to go. Reps you you: thanks
I've about given up on finding these upfitter wires. the pic supplied in the ford dealer notice DOES NOT look the same as under my dash. Last year I had to have a new smart junction box put in due to some headlight issues...could this be the reason I cant find the damn blunt cut wires??? Does anyone know of another confirguraton that Ford used for 2008 F350 job 1? Thanks.
