2008 F-450 Super Duty 6.0 Uplifter Switch

I want to install my CB to the uplifter switch. I have a few problems and questions. There is no clear video or writings on how to connect to uplifter.

1. How do I know which uplifter switch to use since there are 2- 30 amp, 1- 15 amp & 1- 10 amp?

2. Which wire gets connected to the uplifter switch? Red, black or both?

3. Do I have to connect anything to the wiring under the hood where the 4 wires come out of the fire wall. How do I determine which one I need.

4. Would I be better off directly wiring it to the battery?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

The wires in the firewall are just pass-thru wires--the upFITTER switch wires are under the dash. Can't remember is they are near the emergency brake or that is the pass-thru wires.
Use the 10-amp for the CB, save the others for bigger juice draws.
Use the red to the upfitter wire, the black to ground.

For a CB its better to go right to the battery to avoid "noise" from the electrical system. Pull the carpet back on the drivers side and you will see a rubber grommet, that is where you can run your wires down under the truck and to the battery.

If you wire direct to the battery to avoid system noise, use one of the firewall pass-thru wires instead, that is what they are there for.
