Lol. Yeah I remember I was talking to some buddies and some guy was trying to back around my truck in a parking lot. Then I see him back up and smash the corner of his bed in. I thought it was pretty funny because he didnt even scratch the spray paint off my bumper. :P
and he gets out sees the damage gets all pissed looks over and your rolling on the ground laughing and pointing at him and he gets even madder LOL thats always great !
that probably had something to do with it LOL..lemme guess, this guy was a big suit white collar city boy? HAHAHAHAHA those guys always go for the shivys and doogies
Well the truck this is on in the picture is no longer around however the bumper is now on the back of my 91 F 250. I'll try to get a shot of the front bumper on my 88.
This is all 5/16 plate. Using 2X2X1/4 tube and 2X2X1/4 angle to mount to the frame.
thanks, its ttb, i mostly use it for gettin from point a to b now so i never needed to swap it. its got a 302 auto in it but im puttin a 351 in it and changing it to 5 speed. the box in that pic was my fathers i was just borrowing it until i found one.
Hey Tom I really like that bumper you got there.... Any chance you got any pics of the mounting brackets/ points on the frame??? Thanks
Ask and ye shall receive.
The farthest forward bolt also goes through the shackle bracket sandwiching the frame rail. Seems like it ought to be pretty stout to me. Time will tell, I suppose. Oh, and its 1/2" plate, not 3/8".
