3 position headlight switch

I have a 12 volt system and want to use a 3 position aftermarket headlight switch. I have spent some time looking for one but only find the 4 position switches. I want to keep my dimmer switch on the floor. Any ideas?

Oh yeah, I want to keep the push/pull design.

??????? I have never heard of a four position headlight switch let alone seen one. Or, for that matter any headlight switch with the dimmer built into it so I'm unsure of what you have been looking at in the way of switches. Tom

What, ………….three position are everywhere, same as stock, most of aftermarket are three. These are from Ron Francis.

Pic # 2: When the **** is pushed in, the switch is off. Pull the **** out one position, and the park & tail lights are on. Pull the **** out one more position and the low beams and tail lights are on. Pull the **** out all the way and the tail lights and high beams are on. Requires external circuit protection. Complete instructions included. Requires a 7/16" mounting hole. Factory bezel and ****.

I guess i made it a little confusing. When i mentioned the dimmer switch i meant the headlight dimmer that is a seperate switch, mounted on the floor activated with your foot.

Thanks Old F1. I wanted a switch that looks like the 4 position on ron francis but is only a three position. I guess if I would have read the captioning on the first switch I would have realized that switch would meet my needs. Thanks again

Here's the two - three prong foot dimmer switches, the one marked 51/52 is the same as aftermarket type:

and you could use the second switch and still have the floor switch control which is illuminated..
wire both normal and high together and feed that into the floor switch toggle..

I use the second switch in my 55, with no floor switch..
