Bad torque converter?

Im cleaning my throttle body and putting on a new tps senser b/c mine has a bare wire first thing in the morning; clearing codes and starting again and ill let you know how it goes tomorrow. It sounds crazy but i dont think its the torque convertor, i think it is something else making the tranny do funny things.

Nice truck by the way, ive been lookin for bed rails and a tool box. My old tps had a bare wire to that was covered in junk. My dad keeps telling me its the torque converter but i think its something easier because its only got 64 grand on it.

Thanks its my pride and joy. alright, new tps sensor fixed my idle problem motor runs like a top and doesnt rev as high. However i cant say the same for the torque converter, when it gets in overdrive and then you lay on it, it feels like the converter is slipping. Mine has 124 on it and i would think a converter would last longer than that but im really starting to think it might be the problem. Did the tps fix the way your motor sounds when it shifts? I just dont see how one could go bad at 64 thousand though.

The tps didnt do a darn thing. When you punch it, it just revs realy high to the point i have to let off because it sounds if its going to blow up, while its doing that the truck dosent even speed up.
