My 93 F250 shifts hard and at to high of rpms. From a dead stop if you put it to the floor it sounds like its going to blow and revs real high but dosent move barely. In OD going 60 and put the hammer down it dosent drop down a gear, it just slowly goes faster.
Truck shifted awesome before we changed the engine, now its doing it. I heard some where you should use the original torque converter with the original engine.
what tranny is in it? if you replaced the engine, it sounds like you missed a vac line to the trans, or something maybe pinched a tranny cooler line? wont make a difference what you converter is on what engine (assuming of course you didnt instal one ith a different stall speed)
They don't have vacuum lines. They have a TV cable. The TV cable must be adjusted properly or you'll smoke that tranny. I am sure there are some instructions on the site somewhere.

was thinking vacume modulated trans, but yes tv cable not adjusted right does the same thing!! get it adjusted right quick before your truck eats that tranny!

isn`t that the truth.
If you have a TV cable then it is probably an AOD trans. The adjusting proceedure is on here somewhere and on YouTube.
There is no TV cable as listed above. Your F250 has an E4OD just like my '92 F350. It definitely could be your TPS. If it worked good before the transplant, it should be the same now. Just to be sure double-check the trans. fluid level.
Do the speedometer and odometer still function? If not something could have happened to the circuitry to/from the VSS. I also has another thought in the middle of the night last night: Check the transmission cooler lines for kinks or tight bends. During the engine swap they could have become damaged.
