What all channels you guys run on? Cause I want to know what ones I should listen into. ANy certian channel that everyone is on? Just askin been a few years since I had a CB, and want another. Thanks guys.
i stay on 19 when i'm on long hauls. usually seems thats where the truckers are so you get info from the guys ahead of you on road conditions, cops, etc.
When the weather is right, 6 is full of skip shooters, but I can usually get a few good skip shooters in the mid 20's and 30's. I'm outside of Cleveland OH and I get guys from FL and LA all the time.
Been a while since I had a CB and am also looking at getting another. Used to be (in SoCal anyway) 17 and 19 were the trucker channels. 19 for the truckers heading East/West and 17 for the truckers heading North/South.
I imagine that's changed quite a bit since high school.
Today is the unofficial national CB enthusiasts day.
10-4, good buddy!!
Trucker lingo has changed a bit throughout the years, now a days youd never get me to call any body a "good buddy" Id translate the modern definition here for you but this is a family friendly forum with many differant walks of life that read/ participate and I dont think we'd want to offend that many people.
