Every 08 FX4 I looked at before I bought mine in Dec of 07 (probably 75 to 100 trucks) had the 3.73s didn't matter 18" or 20" wheels. Sounds like the 3.55s must have been the option. Everyone I've ever seen has black interior with bucket seats and console shifter. Leather comes with the FX4 Luxury package as well as 20" wheels, the digital climate controls and I think heated and power seats.

The very first FX4 I looked at had cloth seats and column shifter....which is too bad, because I really liked it otherwise. I think its still sitting at the dealership to be honest. To be honest....the Off Road capability, tow package, etc was nice, but it was the standard 5.4L engine, sportier interior and lack of chrome that sold me on the truck.

Another Fx4 Question!
Ok Im thinking about looking at this 2007 FX4 this week end. What would have been the the FX4 Lux pkg for that year? Id like heated leather seats what else would have been with it?

My '05 FX4 has black sport cloth and column shift, and 18's with 373's. I'm pleased with the truck overall, even after 4 years, its still in very good shape. They come with 9.75" axles standard because all FX4's have 5.4's from 2004 and up. They come with LS and last year my rear was rebuilt, a common problem with some 2005's. If anyone looks to buy an F 150 from '05, have an oasis report done to see if there was any documented repairs done. I love my FX4 enough to intend to keep it till it starts to nickel and dime me. It tows, it goes off road, and it takes it w/o complaints, and it cleans up and looks like new again. Can't ask for too much more then that.
