What cleaner, Polish, Or dye do you guys use to get all the plastic bed rail caps, Door handle inserts, Mirrors, Etc... back to their original new black factory look?

I have only done the bed rails so far but I used Krylon Fusion for plastic.

LINK

Was pretty straight forward, just make sure the plastic is clean and dry. I used two coats and now it looks brand new.

It's either Mothers or Meguiars Back to Black.
Works wonders. It took an 8 year sun faded bumper and made it look brand new.

I used black vinyl and upholstery dye on the wiper cowl area, and it worked great. I use the Mothers Back to Black on the door handles and window trim with good results also.

The only problem i have with the back to black is you have to reapply every few months. Looks awesome when recently applied, but doesn't take long to fade out again.

My opinion.

I used Turtle Wax Black Box. Its a black colored cleaner and wax. It has held up 3 months so far. Its better then the Back to Black IMO

I use just regular armor all and I think that it works better than the back to black and doesn't leave any kind of streaking. Plus it seems to last much longer than anything else that I have used.

Forever Black Bumper & Trim...This stuff really works! I've used Back to Black in the past was real disappointed in how quickly it wore off. The Forever Black actually dyes the plastic and returns it to original apperance without the fake wet look.

Products - Forever Black Car Care Products

No local dealers were in my area so I had to order online; Amazon I believe.

Great suggestions. I have used Mothers B2B and was disappointed how quickly it wore off. Will try some of these other products. Thanks

Does anyone know of anything that would work on black metal door handles?

I would just try wax.. if that doesn't work then pull them off and have them painted or powdercoated.
