Hi Guys,I need to put a new clear plastic instrument bezel on my 94 f 350 truck,so I need too know how the black plastic main cover comes off in order to replace the bezel. Also how do I get the light switch **** off to remove the cover
Headlight ****: get a pick and pull the switch out. Turn it until you see the slot, when you look inside that slot there's a spring clip. Pry the clip up while pulling on the ****, and it'll come right off.
Bezel: pry the 2 trim pieces off each side of the bezel. One trim strip under each side of the gauges/warning lights. Under each one, there's a screw. Remove those, and the rest is just snap on stuff. If you have a tilt column you can tilt the wheel all the way down and wiggle it out, if not you might have to drop the column.
Clear instrument lens: self explanatory once you see it, just some screws.
I would be careful when popping the gas switch off the connector behind the bezel, unhook that carefully and don't pull the bezel out too far. The gas switch is held on by two screws to the bezel which are brittle I have broke several while trying to get them off. Also I put my parking brake on and parked on a level spot and put my shifter all the way down to "2"
