windshield wipers

Hello i have a friend that has a 2002 f-150 4 door 4x4 with 5.4 and his wipers will come on anytime can anyone tell what the problem might be.thanks kevin

Bad multi-function switch. Common problem.

Can you tell me where this switch is.or is it the switch with the blinkers.thanks

Yep, the wiper/washer/turn signal/high-low beam selector switch.

Interchange fits 99-03 F150 99 F250LD (7 lug wheels) and 02 Blackwood. Will not swap with Super Duty's and Harley/Lightening packages.

before you go get one and attempt puttin it in, take a small screwdriver or knife and pop the end cap off the multifunction switch. clean inside there with electronics cleaner and papertowels. if this doesnt help then put a new switch on. When you take the cap off and start pullin the peices out, make sure you remember how everything goes together.
