Body Lifts?

The intial cost of a body lift kit is cheaper but sometimes you have to modify the truck such as moving the radiator up and shift levers inside the cab. I also heard that over time the body can fall through the body lift blocks. I would go with a suspension lift. I havent heard anything good about body lifts. I think they look funny too because depending on how big of a body lift you get you will have that gap between your frame and body.

Greg...
I've got 3" blocks on my 2000 F150 with 34" tires and the stance is awesome! As far as safety there's no problem... and as for the gap?...well they make covers that you can put in to "hide" the space. This is the first truck I've had with a body lift...they've all been suspension lifts...but I like mine just fine. Yeah there are a few modifications to make but if you're on a budget it's the way to go?

body lifts
ive installed several body lifts, 3 out of 4 of my trucks but i am going to install one on my new one. they are a really cheap and great way to get extra tire clearence. i have a 79 ford with a 3 inch body lift and its been on there for almost 4 years and still no problems. that truck takes a beating to.
