I don't have a manual guage, my in cab one is electric tapping into the sensor.

No oil/fuel leaks from the top, just the stupid dip stick seal on the side of the oil pan.

Wonder if the low HPOP pressure is what causes the lope at start up.... also wonder why bill wouldn't have noticed that being right at the threshold. I will try one of the other tunes on my chip and see if the idle ICP is higher.

GP (glow plug), as far as I know is working as should. I tested with a test light and an amp meter. all are new and pulling amps.

I had issues similar before the injectors where swapped. about a 2 years ago my truck would barely start when it got under 40*. Took it to the dealer and got bent over for 1500.00 to replace 1 injector. I had a broken leg so I couldn't really do the work myself, so I sucked it up and paid it.

Next winter same issue so I just replaced all the injectors. didn't really fix the problem and milage was still poor. Been throwing money at ever since and don't really seem to get the issue resolved.

New injectors, new Glow Plugs, New HPOP, New AIS, Custom Tune, Live tune time, Auto Enginuity, HPOP guage, Fuel Pressure Guage, Compression Guage.

Its killing me a slow death.

Well I finally got around to doing my compression test. This was done cold and I don't like what I saw

7=300lbs 8=325lbs<o></o>
5=350lbs 6=350lbs<o></o>
3=320lbs 4=300lbs<o></o>
1=300lbs 2=350lbs<o></o>

anybody know where a good writeup is on a leakdown test procedure is? Now the best news I can hope for is that its the upper end and not the lower. Either way it might just make more sense to replace the whole damn thing if I can find a good deal.

Only have 140k on it and just dumped 3.5k in a new tranny about 5k ago.

after reading through some posts I seems that its best to do a compression test warm. So I warmed up the truck and tested again, not much better

7=340 8=340
5=360 6=350
3=350 4=340
1=340 2=380

only one cylinder made it to the acceptable range.
